Answer 3 Questions For MLM Success
MLM recruiting is a contact sport but it should not be brutal. Too many network marketers make recruiting difficult.
Recruiting is a bit like going on a date. You need to be on your best behaviour. There needs to be a little bit of mystery. Curiousity needs to be heightened before we move forward.
But for a lot of mlmers recruiting is a ‘wham bam thank you mam’ approach. Now think about this for just one moment.
At a party do you walk up to somebody and ask them if they would like to buy a new car, some real estate or insurance. No not even your most brazen used car salesman would attempt such an approach. So why do network marketers want to spew their business opportunity all over their new ‘prospect’ within the first 3 minutes of meeting. It’s just plain dumb.
But let’s suppose you are talking to a ‘suspect’ who asks what you do or even better, indicates that they are not happy with some aspect of their life (for which your opportunity could solve), then it’s time for your new ‘prospect’ to hear about what you have to offer.
But alas here comes the next big mistake most network marketers make.
They lead with their company products, compensation plan etc etc which puts up the sales filter within your new prospect.
There’s only 3 questions your prospect needs answered.
- Can I make money?
- What do I have to do?
- Can I do it?
Answer these 3 questions in your prospect’s mind (yes in their mind because they are not going to come out and ask you) and you’ll have them going your way to becoming your new business partner.
In fact if you do it so well, you probably won’t even have to discuss your products, compensation plan etc etc.
